Bro Dysg's Learning for Growth project came to an end in June 2008 after 3 years of assisting people living and working in Rhondda Cynon Taf to gain new skills and qualifications, develop their confidence and achieve their personal potential.
The project involved a partnership between the following partners:
- Jobcentre Plus
- Careers Wales
- Arts Factory
- Valleys Kids
- Dare Training
- BPI Training
- Groundwork Merthyr & RCT
- Skillforce Wales
- Rhondda Cynon Taf Council Community Learning
- Rhondda Cynon Taf Council Family Learning
- Rhondda Cynon Taf Council Cultural Services
The partners engaged with over 4700 beneficiaries and delivered 242 courses across Rhondda Cynon Taf. 1330 of those beneficiaries gained qualifications or units towards qualifications whilst on the project.
The project partners aim to sustain parts of their learning provision in Rhondda Cynon Taf until such time as new funding streams become available.
