The Genesis project aims to reduce the barriers faced by parents and carers living in Rhondda Cynon Taf. Barriers such as childcare costs and individuals who may lack self-esteem and wish to enter training or employment are given support and advice on the issues they face.

Training can take place informally at a local community centre or formally at college or university as well as tailor made training to address individuals' self esteem and confidence.

The project is funded by the European Social Fund, Communities First and Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council.
